We stayed there for two nights on our short journey through Kenyan wildlife parks.
Swimming pool with views of KIlimanjaro.
Comfortable beds.
Electricity provided for couple hours a day, so it's easy to charge up your mobile or camera.
It is very close to the Amboseli Park's entrance.
The food is average but it pays off to get the advice from the waiters, specially about local vegetables or cakes-yum yum!
Coctail bar at the swimming pool.

Possibility of organising lunch boxes, so you don't have to come back to the camp, but have your lunch at picturesque hill in the park, watching elephants in the swamp nearby.

Important thing-small shop at the entrance has some traveler's essentials like shampoo, pain killers or anti mosquito spray. Prices and quality of souvenirs surprisingly good, definitely better than at many of junk-gift shops your driver had stopped at.

Maasai dance in the evening, warriors from manyatta(village)nearby said that the guys performing dance in the camp are not even from Maasai tribe..
They are Kibo's staff-members with an enterpreneur's soul, adding some tips to their meagre income. Pay them anyway, even when you are not convinced they have long way back home at night, fighting lions with bare hands ;)

Quiet place to rest between safari drives.

Room Tip: All of them are hidden in the bush, with only your neighbour next door to be seen.

We spent just one night at Kibo, we enjoyed our stay. Although not a favourite camp, the accommodation offered all the essentials, it was clean & comfortable. The view of Kilimanjaro was wonderful & the local wildlife were very vocal throughout the night (Lions & Hyenas’). On arrival we were greeted by three giraffes looking at us through the fence. The Camp site also offered a large swimming pool & a evening camp fire with Masaai entertainment.

We stayed at Kibo Safari Camp in mid January 2012. The setting is surreal as you swim with a picture perfect view of Kilimanjaro. We enjoyed the ambience and the space was conducive to meeting other travelers. The food wasn't anything overly special but the service was phenomenal. It is a smaller resort with a real personal feel. We enjoyed our server Duncan very much and he made our stay super enjoyable. Thanks Duncan!

We stayed at this camp during our trip in Mid-December 2011. This resort is not too big and doesn’t get crowded. There is a large pool and access to the park is very close tot he camp. The rooms were clean and the staffs were accommodating. The waiters were very accommodating and provide specials for the kids. The food is not the greatest but we still ate very well. The Masai show around the fire was a nice addition to our stay. Still the best thing is the perfect view we had on the Kilimanjaro when we woke up in the morning. Probably not the best camp in this area but definitely one of the best bang for your buck.

this is not an overly priced camp, and therefore much can be forgiven, such as the average food, and the service sometimes not very professional. The location is just next to the eastern entrance to Amboseli. We would have probably been more impressed if the Kilimanjaro had not been stubbornly shrouded in clouds. The tents are well appointed and clean considering the price. Unfortunately bedding and towels were not really fresh.

Just outside of the park. Bonfire and Masaï dancers. Buffet did not have that much of a choice. Mid-range tents with all you need including a very powerful shower.
