This is a well maintained hotel orientated toward middle class Japanese travelers. It is well located, a tram service in the street outside connects to pretty much anywhere. The staff go out of their way to be helpful.
Breakfast is served in one of the ball rooms. You proceed in and get a tray cafeteria style. They have an omelette and waffle bar, a noodle section, pastries, expresso machines etc - everything is there, its just a bit like going back to boarding school with the trays etc. There are three restaurant on site - Japanese, Chinese and European, all of good quality and value.
The staff did a good job at running the meeting we had on the ballroom.
The guest rooms let the effort down. They have the ubiquitous flat screen TV, there is a wire ethernet internet access (no charge) but no wireless. There are very few accessible power sockets. In the room, everything works but looks like a retrotrip to the 1980s.
Depending on your pricepoint and what you need, this may suit by it aint the Ritz!
