We visited this attraction earlier this November and it wasn't the best time to attend. Like some have said, this attraction was closed for a few years and it just opened up again. I remember visiting this place a few years ago during the summer and it was beautiful. This time around, there was not much color other than the green landscape. It is still a nice peaceful walk and it is still maintained. Definitely worth another trip when the flowers are blooming. Definitely a must for anyone visiting Okinawa especially photographers.

If you do come during the summer, water is a must! Many locations with shade but the humidity is high in the summer. You will find the infamous Banana Spiders which look really creepy and have huge, strong webs! There is also a restaraunt where you can cool down and relax. They have glass walls so you can still enjoy the scenery.

I did not rate this higher than a 3 because I don't feel I got what I paid for during this time of year. Definitely coming back to visit in the summer when this place turns colorful and also a night trip that they just began.

This is an attraction that has been closed for a few years. It used to be a great place to take the family for an enjoyable out of doors day trip. Many people just stroll through the gardens, feed the carp in the ponds or, take photos of the flowers and trees. For someone serious about learning the scientific names of the shrubs, flowers, plants and trees, it used to be a goldmine. Some of the plants have placards, identifying the items but, not all of them, yet. This could very well be, it is a work in progress. And, I hope to return and give this site a five star rating, in the near future. It is wheel chair and stroller friendly and there are plenty of places to relax in the shade or, find refreshments. The facilities are clean and the staff polite and friendly. One suggestion: It would be nice if they had pamphlets in English for those visitors who don't speak or, read Japanese.
