This street has tons of overpriced souvenir shops to choose from. It's a great place for people watching and wandering around.

Walk with the crowds and enjoy the window shopping. Overpriced but entertaining. The street has lots to choose from and it is the side streets that provide lots of alleys to explore.

Forget about shopping, this is a great place to take a camera. When there are no activities going on in the street (Festivals) you can still have fun, without spending a fortune. There are always brilliant colored items on display, at every shop. In the summer, hot or rainy days, checkout the side streets; they are air-conditioned. Storekeepers are all friendly and usually, don't mind you taking photos. If you can't resist buying (Shopping Syndrome) here's a tip: The farther back you go, off the avenue; the lower prices you seem to find. I've been known to haggle and, get away with some great deals. Kokusaidori is a place, I go, several times a year. It's what you could call, the foul weather plan for someone who likes to shoot cameras on a day most people wouldn't think of going outdoors. Recommended to all my friends.

This 1km shopping street is filled with all different shops, restaurants and cafe. And you can almost find all kinds of souvenior with almost identical price.

The street connect with two Yui station.

The merit of buying stuff at this street is some shop assistants/waiters on this street can speak English while most shops offer free trail for food souvenior.

Don't miss it. (we walked along this street almost everyday in our 3day stay and of course bought lots of stuff:)

For a first timer, it is quite exciting to be introduced to Okinawa by walking down International street. It is interesting to observe the smart uniforms of the various different groups of students on field trips from different parts of Japan. One can't help bumping into many of these student groups along the street. On Sunday from 12noon to 6pm, this street is closed to traffic
