“Nice Hotel with free Parking”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2012

Stayed for 4 nights in a party of 8.
Room/Service: Room size are good compare to regular Japanese hotels. Hotel seems a bit old and the first set of rooms we got had stong smoke smell (we requested non-smoking room), we were able to change to bigger rooms after 1st night with no additional charge. In general, the staffs in the hotel are nice and efficient, one of our members got stomach flu during the stay and the hotel is able to provide appropriate medicine to us.

Dining: We only tried the buffet breakfast, I would say it's an above average breakfast with lots of varities.

Location: Quite far from the main street (kokusai dori street), above 20-25 mins walk or 10 mins taxi which cost about 700 yen; about 15-20 mins taxi from the airport which cost about 1400yen. A beer store right outside of the hotel and a supermarket about 5 mins away by walking.

I arrived at 8:30 PM with a large tour group. All keys are prepared in advance, and the check in progress was very quickly. It's a surprise to me that they even have Chinese speaking staffs and the staff in counter can speak very good English. I think they can solve your any problem.
I stayed in a single room, exactly to say, the room was something small, the bed was 1.2m width and comfortable, but the noise of airconditioning was big, but very cool, so I preferred to turn off the AC.
I have noticed that the breakfast opens from 7:00-10:30, but when I came to the restaurant at 10 to 10, it was closed, and I have to walk out to the supermarket to have my breakfast.
Located not in the city center and not on the seeshore, but very easy to touch city center and seeshore.

We stayed 3 nite in Sep 11, courteous front office & F&B stuff, room very clean & comfortable, room size consider good in Japan, breakfast have good spread too, include Japanese & western variety, BUT need 15-20min walk to Kokusai street, there're two quite big supermarket just across the street,on the way, hv quiet a few nice, small & cozy restaurant, worth trying! If u have a car & if you are out most of the time, still worth staying there.

Stayed 3 nights during Jan 2011. It's an average hotel, deco seems a bit outdated however room is spacious and buffet breakfast is up to 4 stars hotel standard.
Hotel location is at least 15 - 18 mins walk to the nearest monorail station, not ideal for tourists without cars. They have plenty of parking spaces, recommended this hotel for those are driving.
There's a grocery shop just across the hotel, opens till 10pm. The nearest 24hrs convenience store is about 10 mins walk from the hotel.
The hotel should offer shuttle bus service to the monorail station.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in September as part of a family trip to Okinawa. This was a group choice as it was cheap, but if I had a choice I'd go somewhere else.

First of all this hotel is not near the main shopping area (Kokusai Street), nor any other shops. There is nothing you can do in the immediate area. It is also not near any linear train station, the closest is at least 15 minutes walk away. Unless you fancy lots of walking (which is fine but it will also be in hot weather most of the year) you are looking at a taxi trip in and out of town. Which means that if you add that cost to the hotel it's not as cheap as it is.

My biggest complaint however is how old the facilities are. The room I went to stank of cigarette smoke, paint comes off furniture, bathroom is old and not particularly clean. The rooms are also pretty small. I'm sure the cheap price will attract some tourists but I'd rather I could stay somewhere else.

My husband and I have been traveling to Naha regularly since 2000 and stayed here on several occasions. Unlike the newer "business-type" hotels providing barely enough space in their guest rooms to fit a bed, the Pacific is older and therefore offers more space and comfort at competitive rates. Hotel staff are helpful, friendly. Breakfast buffet is average but provides a good variety of both Japanese and Western dishes and is served in a spacious dining room so there's no waiting. Other features include a large lobby, coffee shop and swimming pool. Across the street from the front entrance there's a huge gift shop/liquor store selling local products at reasonable prices. The main reason we use this hotel is for its free parking on site with no valet. The only downside is, we could never find any interesting places to eat nearby and end up walking to Kokusai-dori, which is 15 to 20 minutes one way.
