“eight years waiting and worth it”
Reviewed February 28, 2012

Since eight years I was dreaming to go to Beppu's Hells some day and now I got to see them finally. The Hells itself are so wunderful, but at some of the Hells they had small animal parks which was very sad. African Elephant couldn't even turn around himself... It's a shame...

“Some of them are definitely not for an animal lovers”
Reviewed January 22, 2012

Interesting, but I hate the ones with animals: alligators and small ZOO as the animals are kept on quite small place...

“lots of different hot springs to view”
Reviewed October 31, 2011

many different hot springs of varying colour, temperature and sulfur content. Interesting walk, and eye opener for me as my home country has no volcano nor hot springs.

visiting all the hell hot springs can be very tiring as each hot spring park as huge areas for you to cover, be prepared for alot of walking.

Can take up to half a day if you stop to enjoy every hot spring and gift shop!
