From the outside, the hotel building may look ordinary but when you get in, you feel that relaxing atmosphere. Interiors are really good! I love the wooden pieces and the lighting similar to art galleries'. There is an onsen inside the suite which has brownish minerals. Temperature is just right, not too hot unlike other baths. Service makes you feel pampered and relaxed. Kinda pricey but definitely worth the experience.

Room Tip: Corner rooms give a good very view of the sea. You can hear the waves and feel the cool air coming in as you dip yourself to the relaxing onsen in your own room. However, for more privacy, select a room in the upper floor.

Superb!!! This is about the only word I would use to describe this hotel room. Sweeping 270 degree views out to sea, along the coast and into Beppu. No stone was left unturned. Amenities were first class. The attention to details was flawless and the staff were excellent. The suite is amazing at around 90m2. The mini bar is included. In the fee. There is a lounge down stairs with free Japanese plum wine (home made), whiskey, coffee and orange juice.
We also had dinner at the hotels tepenyaki restaurant. Probably the best wag yu steak I have had in my life!!! I highly recommend the food.
As a seasoned traveller would highly recommend this hotel and room 602 in particular as the best room views as a corner suite. I didn't want to leave when it was time.
Room 10/10
Amenities in the room 10/10
Tepenyaki restaurant 10/10
Staff and attention to guests 10/10
Attention to detail in and out of the rooms 10/10
Price expensive but worth it!!!

Room Tip: There is no better than 602 better views than any room and much better than the roof top hot bath.

The room (suite) had a superb view of the seaside. At the entrance, there were three doors leading to toilet, bathroom and living/bedroom. Meals were inside the living room.

There is a outdoor hot pool on the roof, with free massage chair for use.

The hotel was about 20 min walk from Beppu station. But there was a convenient shop near it. Beppu at this time of the year was really quiet.

The staffs here don't really speak English.
