Nice clean hotel, most staff speak English. Larger rooms than average Japanese hotels. My only complaint would be the room does not have a coffee maker (and the restaurant does not have American breakfast, but it's not America so really can't complain about that). Short walk to the Naval Base across the Albuquerque Bridge and through the USO Park.

Larger Room for Japan. Smoking rooms available. The breakfast buffet offers organic vegetables, hardboiled eggs, sausage patties, scrambled eggs with cheese, good mix of Japanese and American choices providing a good start for the day. The front desk staff is friendly and speaks English. Tons of shopping and food choices available within walking distance. Rates were below Government Per Diem Rate. My new favorite hotel for Sasebo.

Booked this hotel to get a bigger bed. Very clean, very easy walk to the naval vase main gate (about 15 minute walk). Ginza is only a block away. We ate at the hotel 2 mornings. Food was good but all labels were in Japanese. Not all items were easily identifiable.

If we went back to Sasebo and couldn’t stay on base we would stay here again.

Friendly staff, most speak excellent English. Very clean rooms, variety of sizes to accommodate all my needs. They even helped find other lodging when our trip was extended and Quintessa was sold out.

A nice hotel with the big plus that I had no language problems. The staff was friendly and helpful in simple things like adjusting room temperature and other information.
The restaurant was good and the dinner buffet was value for money.
All in all had a pleasant and comfortable overnight stay.
