Went to the reservation desk same night around 8 pm, and got a single room, no problem. Ten percent military discount, so about 6100 yen for the night. Convenient location to the Ginza. Room is small by American standards, but perfect for me. Comfy bed, Nice shower with deep tub, and Japanese toilet seat with all the buttons with English translation, didn't have to figure out the kanji or the drawings. Reception staff friendly and efficient, will definitely visit again.

Room tip: Was on third floor, pretty quiet.

Small rooms, about 7.5' by 7.5'. The hotel makes it up in service and hospitality. Also hot breakfast buffet available. You'll get used to room size in a day or so.Good bath / shower. Good neighborhood. Vey clean neighborhood and honest people here. Honor is everything here.

Room tip: 3rd floor is good. 2 elevators, don't have to wait long as on 10th floor.

I stayed here for 5 days, the hotel is clean, the rooms are clean, bed comfortable, bath is good, nice clean towels and linen. The staff is short on English, just need to be patient with them, they are helpful and polite. If you have a large suitcase of numerous bags, you will have to open them in the hall way, or place them on the bed, there is no floor space, the rooms are very small. The A/C was good, I stayed in August. The room rate was good as well, around $80.00 US a day. You must leave your key at the front desk when out of the hotel. If you lose your key there is a $50 replacement fee. You have to place your key in the socket in your room to make the lights and AC work, just stick a pen in the socket and the AC will run all day while you are out. Within walking distance of Sasebo Navy Base or a 700 yen cab ride. Wifi is great!

Room tip: I stayed in room 403
