I stayed in hotel for two weeks , when i was on a business trip to Japan last year. It was a weekend and i wasn't able to find room at any other place to i booked a room in this hotel. The size of the room was smaler even for japanese standrad. What was more disturbing that bed was 190 cm in length too so my feet were always hanging out of the bed during night. The free channels were all japanese channels , even remote control and AC controller didn't had any english text. The other thing which was very irritating was bathroom entry which was almost 30 cm higher then the room floow so during the first few days there was lots of kicks while entering or leaving the bathroom.

you'll be sleeping off your jet lag anyway. Usually stay at another hotel, but it and others were full. Lucky to get a room at Sunroute for the entire time here. Overwhelmed with GREAT SERVICE and friendly staff, they go out of their way to please you. Nice rooms, with nice bath. Cleaned by staff every day. Breakfast buffet on 9th floor. Restaurants all around. You made a good choice to stay here. 2 elevators. Stay on floors 6-8. Like this hotel very much. Japanese TV stations. If you came from the U.S. you'll be sleeping off your jet lag anyway. Enjoy! Airports at Nagasaki, and Fukuoka. Train, bus to airports- 2 hours.

Room tip: If you are going to Naval base, it is a 20 minute walk.

This is a small hotel room, no English TV and you need to bring a wireless modem if you have wireless devices. Also, if you want more than one cup of coffee in the morning, bring your own singles. You get a water pot (no coffee maker) and one instant coffee packet. The pillow on the bed is the traditional hard pillow but they do have a softer pillow on the shelf above the clothes hanging area. The room was clean and I had beer in a vending machine a few steps from my room.

We stayed for three nights in this hotel it is very basic the rooms very small and the beds also very small but adequate for us as we were visiting our son.The breakfasts were really good and the staff very friendly and helpful. This is most likely a hotel more suitable for business people but it was very good value for money and good for a short stay but not comfortable enough for longer than a couple of nights.
