This Toyoko Inn is located next the train station, about 1 minute walk. Is clean, with all the standard Toyoko Inn's amenities, plus a very good breakfast.
As it is located at the Station, it is extremely easy to travel to the attractions of Miyazaki from here. It is also about 5 mins walk to a 24-hour AEON Max Value Supermarket.
I have a worst hotel experience in Japan in this hotel. I have a paid reservation from the 6th and for some personal reasons I came on the 7th of May. And it’s the disaster. They want in the beginning to make me pay for the 5 remaining days again. After a long discussion between the 5 people working in the reception ( no one of them is speaking English) I understand they accept me again but I can’t get my room before 4 pm. As I came at 10:30 am, I had to wait 6 hours to get the room on the 7th even my reservation was paid from the 6th.
My wife and I was so tired and slept in the table but they didn’t care. They gave us that key (normal key not a card and we have to give it to the reception every time we leave the room) at 3:59pm, so we were at our room at 4:02pm.
I can’t change my reservation as it was paid by my company but really I recommend everyone to not try this hotel.
It is a budget inn that I paid 15552yen for 3 nights including breakfast. However, clients should check in after 4:00pm and check out before 10:00am respectively. Whilst, clients are not allowed to stay in room from 10:00am to 4:00pm for cleaning purpose.
The most attractive point of this place is the convenient location, only 1 minute walk from the Miyazaki Eki. Room is not big but clean and tidy, price is very reasonable and we paid less than ¥5000 each night for a single bedded room. Free breakfast is provided and it's not bad at all, we haven't missed it throughout our stays.
A good budget business hotel. They decor is dated but still perfectly fine.
Staff were always very helpful and can often speak basic english. We spoke Japanese so not a problem.
The rooms are standard Japanese sizes (small). The location is just around the corner from one of the main shopping malls so is a great location and plenty of options for dining and shopping nearby.
Bathroom was the standard pod but everything was clean and after moving the table/chairs you can put your suitcases down easily.
Free wifi was fast and free breakfast was standard options, all were fresh and hot.
Would stay here again if in the area.
