A great find not far from the main station. We found our neighbours highly amusing. Claiming they could not speak English we nevertheless had two hours of conversation with two 'salarymans'. They had as many beers as we had skewers of chicken and black pork. The waiter was most helpful and even gave us an idiot's guide in English as to how to eat shabu shabu. Food was delicious and the price fantastic value. The wine we were treated to by the salarymans was ridiculously over-priced but much appreciated. As the only westerners in the restaurant we were much admired and watched: all part of the Japanese experience in an unpretentious and not over priced izakaya.
