This is a great place close to the beach. It's about a fifteen minute walk to the beach or less. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and our room was spacious, clean, and had hardwood floors. It didn't feel like Japan at all.
The hotel is close to a rather high-end grocery store, but it has everything a traveler would need. The bakery is great too. There are also several restaurants next to the hotel. If you want to head to somewhere busier, it's just about a ten minute past the schools to reach the station where more restaurants and bars are located, mind you, the area is quite small. The hotel also has a pool, but it's barely four feet deep. It would be great for families, but I personally would prefer just walking to the beach instead.
The pillows can be a bit stiff and small, but that's true for most pillows in hotels in the country. Also, the bar could improve their cocktails since most of them are from instant mixes. Skip the mojito.
I would definitely come back here again. Not only does it have access to a pool and the beach, but if I want to head to Tenjin for some shopping, it's just four stops away on the subway. It's perfect for a lazy, relaxing trip in Japan (not for the hectic shopping, see crazy things type of traveler).More
