“Great park, the deer are a trip!”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

It's a little unsettling at first, small deer roaming the streets, unafraid to come right up to you and beg for food, some even nibbling on your purse or jacket. But once you get used to it, they are kind of cute...swarming whomever has purchased the package of crackers from the park vendors. The park itself is beautiful, and quite large. We managed to get ourselves a little lost, wandering off on a trail that wasn't as well marked as some. But, we enjoyed our stroll through the park, and would definitely recommend this spot! The only thing missing was a picnic lunch!

“A place like paradise.”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

You can see amounts of deers here, and lots of kids are having fun here. All you can feel is like you are in the paradise. In September, the weather is good and sunshine is bright. You could come here alone to feel the nature, or come with your friend/family and just sit on the grass doing nothing.

“Visit to Nara Park”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

I liked the grounds very much. Plenty of shade trees around and shops along the path to purchase items.

“So much to see in the area, deer might bite!”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

The whole area has many amazingly beautiful things to see, it's well worth a trip and roaming in the park are so many deer but be aware, they have become wise to tourists and may give you a little nibble if they think you are holding back food!

“Nara park means Nara deers”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

A lot of deers free to live in the park or outside the park. Be careful if you are a driver.
Walking through the park is pleasant and relaxing. Beautiful green's shadow, water streams or small ponds and the deers to see or for some to feed....but please don't feed them "sugar junk" it's not healthy for us and for them to....they are vegetarians..
As you walk the park you can visit temples and nice shrines and see dozens of lantern structures covered with moss.. Took some nice shots...
