We spent a night there for our Nikko trip. Nanaeyae hotel located not too far from the station, but the entrance is a little difficult to notice if you can't understand Japanese.
We got there before check-in time (3pm) so we just left our stuffs with them. When we got back, they already arranged the room and put our bags in the room. The room we stayed was Japanese style, there's tea and sweets preparing for us. Most staffs couldn't speak English but they were quite active and willing to communicate.
Dinner was awesome, full course of Japanese style, exotic dishes. During dinner, the owner came to greet us. (and also when we departed, she sent us out, gave us presents, and prepared car to send us to the station- not sure it's normal or because it was raining)
Bedroom is Japanese style (Futon-bed, quite warm and comfortable)
The onsen was not so spectacular comparing to hotels near Fuji that I've been but it's quite relaxing enough; there're massage chairs for free of use too. : )
Overall, I loved it.
