“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Lots of eclectic stuff, good shopping for weird and wonderful, good food available in several places and a great Oktoberfest in the autumn. The Sea Bass water taxi stops here, so it easy to get to or from and the walk to Sakuragicho Station for the JR or subway is pleasant and can be interesting. Mintao Mirai is just around the corner.
Bill's is recommended for a good, fun meal.

“Aka Renga Soko - Great”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Aka Renga Soko or Red Brick Warehouse is a must have sightseeing spot for your trip to Yokohama. Two character filled buildings which were once the warehouses associated with the original, very first, train line between Yokohama and Tokyo. Now they are well planned with interesting shops, restaurants and tourist orientated stores.

Most weekends there is also a set-up of an additional attraction in the open space between the building. Sometimes it might be Oktoberfest or a local growers market but always interesting and fun to visit.

Add it to your list for Yokohama and you won't be disappointed.

“Gorgeous view of harbour from balcony restaurants”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

In reality this is just another shopping mall in an old building with history. The shops are more quirky and orientated towards tourists and those looking for gifts etc. it was very busy on the day we were there, but well worth a wander through. We also grabbed a quick lunch while there in the picnic area which was really just a food court. All in all take a look.

“Good mix of shops and restaurants”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

This is a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city. Located in an open area the warehouse looks immaculately preserved. Stop in for the multi-level shops on the second and third floor or hit one of the nice restaurants on the first floor

“pleasant level, easy walk all the way from chinatown here”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

just opposite to yokohama international passenger terminal, there is street artist doing some show just infront of the building. inside the building was quite crowded when we were there. most of shops are pricy, a hat is 10000 above, of cause good workmanship and quality material used as i can see. some local artist, hand made products, my daughter is impressed with one shop which hand made souveniors of lots of country national flag, which she tried her best to guess. quite enjoyful just walk through or sit down to have a sip. we spent about 1 hour here then head toward cosmoworld when the wheel was lighting up with different color tune.
