Chinatown in Yokohama is flooded with Chinese restaurants, bun shops, and souvinier shops. What I love about Chinatown is that the Chinese food doesn't have the Authentic Chinese Flavours.

Great area for sightseeing, shopping and eat.
Once you arrive, since the entrance you can tell that you're about to enter in Chinatown because of the chinese arches.
Be sure to bring your camera because there is a lot of things to capture.
About the food, well there are many options even a Brazilian Churrasqueria type restaurant that I was amazed to find there.

I wandered up from The Motomachi shopping strip and crossed the road to find Yokohama's Chinatown. There are several large Chinese gates signaling the entry points to Chinatown and as soon as you enter, you are greeted by red lanterns and numerous shops, restaurants, food stalls, chestnut vendors and pork bun
vendors not to mention the largest number of pandas bear merchandise I have ever seen! The is even one shop that just sells Panda bear related items. Chinatown has a number of souveneir and colorful gift shops that sell items from around the world. Whilst the cuisine is predominately Chinese, you can also find a Brazilian restaurant tucked away that has an excellent buffet and samba dancing girls in feathers fishnets and not much else! if you are thinking of going to Chinatown, go at night when the lanterns are lit as it is much more atmospheric. There are also several Chinese temples in the middle of the shops and restaurants worth looking at. Weekends get very busy so try and book a restaurant beforehand.

it's fairly big for Chinatown. Has a lot of places to eat and a fun place to explore if you have a few hours to kill.
