I've been frequenting Tatsutano since 1982 - 30 years! The quality of the food (traditional Japanese sweets) hasn't changed. Anmitsu, red bean and other ice-creams in Summer and oshiruko (warm, sweet, thick red bean soup with mochi on top) in Winter. Try and get a table upstairs in front of the picture window overlooking the Ginza for the view then walk to the nearby Hakuhinkan Toy Park toy department store for some cute stationery or high-tech toy.
