For our first trip to Japan, we wanted to stay in a ryokan and we knew Hakone would be the place to do so. Fukuzumiro was suggested to us by a friend and was echoed by the many glowing reviews on TripAdvisor. It didn't disappoint. If you can stay in Sakura 2 (the only room with a private onsen and bathroom), it's definitely best but there's also private communal baths you can use within the ryokan. We selected the package with the breakfast and dinner and the meals didn't disappoint....especially the traditional kaseiki dinner - just come starving as you'll be SO STUFFED with the amount of food they give you. Definitely recommend this place if you're able to make the trip to Hakone.More
