Positive points:
The staff in the lobby is very nice and they do the best they can to welcome you well even not speaking English to foreigner customers. After the check in, they will offer a free ice cream and in the room the housekeeper will let a "tsuru" a tradicional Japanese paper folding in a format of a bird.

Negative points:
During the breakfast hours the housekeepers will use the same elevator as the guests to clean the empty rooms. I see no problem with that but since they come with big carts this can be a trouble for families with children and luggage to go in the same elevator.
They have multiple small parking areas all around the hotel and every time you come in or out the staff of the hotel come to check your name, room number and in some cases "like mine" I was requested to leave the key for him to move my car to another parking area different from the one I had parked.

Pros:
Friendly staff.
On-site parking (on arrival you're asked whether you need the car again that day as it gets full so you'll be boxed in if not - no issue as by checkout the car boxing you in will be gone).
Hotel had laundry facilities and microwave amongst the usual toiletries.
Spacious room in comparison to other budget hotels we've been in.

Cons:
Dried bodily fluids on the toilet door frame (blood or faeces...), really unacceptable as it wasn't stained and came away with a good scrub from our sacrificed sponge and lots of paper towels.
The sleep wasn't so good, other guests were being extremely loud and roaming the corridors with heavy footsteps gone 1am. I understand it's difficult for the hotel to control this but they could have asked them to quiet down and be a little more respectful of other guests.
Tiny bathtub, the smallest from any budget hotel we've come across (10+ different brands).

I stayed three nights here while in Maebashi for work. The hotel itself is fine: comfortable rooms, decent Japanese-style breakfast. good wifi, and pleasant staff. It is a bit of a hike from the station (about ten minutes) and the area is a little seedy. . Unlike many budget hotels, this one also offers dinner in the adjacent restaurants. There are 4 choices each day, and I thought it was a good value.
