A great day out for anyone with children or even the young at heart. The Toy Story Mania attraction was definitely the most popular and Fast-passes for the whole day were booked almost immediately after the park opened . There was always a standby queue of over 2 hours for this attraction.
For me the highlight was the Jules Verne area, featuring "20,000 leagues under the sea" and the Vulcania chinese restaurant. It was so detailed in it construction and artwork, it really must be seen to be believed for those interested in the "Steampunk" aesthetic. Unfortunately the "Journey to the center of the Earth" ride was closed for the day we visited.
The other excellent features were the many different varieties of popcorn flavour throughout the park, the "raging spirits" rolle-rcoaster and the bar and service on board the "SS Columbia"

DisneySea is unlike any other Disney theme park, in that it takes the best bits of all and throws them together for a fun filled day. Attractions for kids and grown ups? Check. Global themes? Check. A nice variety of food? Check. Check.
Take advantage of the single riders lines at some attractions to cut down your wait time.
Enjoy!

Visit Disneysea on Apr 2013.
Several ways to get the tickets: online reservation, go to disney shop, convenient store, or on-site ticket counter. We bought the tickets in 7eleven store with 700yen discount (normal price 6200yen, we purchased 5500yen) on the occasion of Disney Tokyo 30th anniversary. The ticket is valid until July 2013, so you might want to check if it's still available in 7eleven :)
Very fun adventure despite of a bad weather (it's raining all day!). We visited during work day (Wednesday) so the crowd is not so bad - longest queued we had is for Toy Story Mania for about 60mins. It's very recommended to grab fastpass ticket to avoid queuing if you arrive early.
Almost all restaurant is full during lunch hour and the food is quite pricey so you might want to consider bringing some 'bento' ;) Ah one more, you should try their delicious churros located near the Alladin palace.
The decoration and layout is unquestionable, we especially love the mermaid palace.
Last but not least, check the schedule on their website to make sure you don't miss any special performance. Also, stay for their night firework performance (at 8pm), it's simply stunning!

Oh so much fun times. The rides were great once you make it past all the lines. My favourite was tower of terror. That was a thrill The park is clean and safe. Food was very yum too.

We went there during the golden week holiday. We bought multi-days pass, which we went to Disneyland on the first day, and we went to Disneysea the next day. Despite it fulls of people because of the holiday season, but we still enjoy our time there. In my opinion Disneysea is much better than the Disneyland, because Disneysea has a different and unique concept compare to other theme parks. Also, it has more exciting and thrilling rides (which suit me better) compare to the Disneyland.
