I stayed at the hotel for two reasons -- 1) I was en route to an international flight and 2) I wasn't to see something of Tokyo. The free bus ride to the hotel was fine but note it takes about 25 minutes, not the advertized 10 minutes (I took the bus back and forth to the airport on 4 occasions, at different times of the day and it always took 25 minutes. I loved the lobby. The bags were collected from the bus and taken to the room (tipping is frowned on so no need to worry on that account). The lobby is huge and really nice. The room was very sizable and comfortable. There are about three restaurants in the hotel but we only tried one -- The Terrace Bar -- because it was offering a drinks deal. Even with the highly discounted drink prices we were still paying around $7 a beer. Still, in Japan this was cheap. The main disappointment was the food. We ordered a Club Sandwich and I can safely say that it was THE worst of its type I have ever eaten.
I really liked the staff in this hotel. They were really friendly. I would certainly recommend this place.
One black spot, the breakfast wasn't great in terms of selection. I could find enough to eat, and am not picky, but my choices were limited.More
