This is a very nice hotel that is short taxi ride (1970 yen) or free shuttle from Narita Airport. Check in is fast and very courteous. A bellhop will take your bag upon meeting you outside the hotel and will bring up to your room after you check-in. Your bags get to your room within 2-3 minutes of you getting inside yourself. This is a very large Hilton and shaped like a donut - the inside is a rock garden with waterfalls. The interior walls of lobby are all glass allowing you a 360 view of the garden area. Fountains in the lobby/restaurant area cascade water under the glass wall into the garden area as well. The rooms are located in a large curved building - the interior rooms look out over the garden, the exterior rooms provide view of the area. The area adjacent the hotel is more hotels and airport parking lots. The rooms are modern, very clean, and well furnished with wet bar and snacks for an additional charge. There is a small safe in the room, good sized bathroom, 2 robes for wear in room, and Japanese television with option to pay for movies/other channels. Internet in room cost about $20 a day or you can use free wi-fi in lobby. Three restaurants in the hotel along with meeting rooms, wedding chapel, etc. I ate at the Terrace restaurant on the first floor - it was excellent breakfast with typical Tokyo pricing (semi-expensive). Also had a small pizza in the evening there that was okay - not to the standard you get in the states, but certainly enough to fill you up. No Dr Pepper served :( The gym is very large, numerous modern workout machines, aerobic exercise machines, a few free weights, mats for stretching/yoga. The exercise cycles all have personal televsion with complimentary headphones (with new ear coverings provided). A 25m indoor pool, jacuzzi, and sauna are availabe for extra charge or free to premimun Hilton members. Shuttle to airport runs on schedule and is not on-demand service. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Several shops are located on first floor for momentos, snacks or gifts. Great bed that was very comfortable. You never have to wait more than a few seconds for an elevator and they are extremely fast. Cost of hotel here was half what the rate I paid in downtown Tokyo for similar hotel.

Room tip: If you use a three-prong plug, bring an adapter as only 2-prong outlets are in the room. There are 3 prong outlets in the Java Cafe on first floor under each table though.

Good rooms, comfortable beds but no WIFI in room and wired internet is very slow.
Bathroom dated but in good order and clean.
For westerners coffee in the room in addition to tea might be nice.
Overall very good.

We stayed here for one night which was the first night in Japan because we arrived at night and just wanted a place to sleep before heading out to the city. Service appeared alright at first. Staff at front desk spoke good English. The rooms were clean however unfortunately the bathroom did not have a typical hotel toilet of a bidet and seat warmer. That wasn't so much of an issue. The rooms were rather spacious. There was a LAN cable in the room to connect we used this in two occasions. The breakfast the next morning was great with lots of variety. Especially for myself who is vegetarian I found a lot to eat. On check out this is when we found out we had to pay for Internet. They did not tell us during check in that they charged for using the LAN cable for Internet. The two occasions that we used the LAN cable was close to $20! Absolutely crazy especially considering that most hotels offer free wifi if not a LAN cable free of charge.

Dear Robyn N
Thanks for your comments appreciatee you providing this feedback. Our internet services are provided by a third party vendor under contract which limits what the hotel can provide. We are currently negotiating some changes to that arrangement that will allow us to provide WiFi and better access throughout the hotel. Thanks again for your comments.

This hotel was easy to get to from the airport, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. The only criticism I have is that they should have instructions for the tea kettles in English as well as Japanese - I nearly scalded my hand off! Overall, very nice for an affordable airport hotel.

Arrived in Japan after a 14-hour flight from New York and decided to take a night's break in Narita before continuing to the north of the country. This was a great decision. Hilton provided an excellent and spacious room, with a beautiful bed for our infant daughter. The service was impeccable and friendly. As we also received late (2 pm) check-out the following day, we could enjoy a long breakfast at the superb Japanese and Western buffet.
