A lovely hotel out of the bustling activities in Tokyo. Being from a cosmopolitan city of Singapore with fast working pace, this hotel offerred us a nice quiet relaxing ambience to unwind. Services and attitudes of the staffs were second to none (generally staffs in all Japan hotels have good positive working attitude). The hotel lifts offer view of scenery and narita airport. There is a beautiful garden with koi pond for a morning stroll. The hotel provides compliemenatry shuttle bus services to/from airport, to/from narita town (aeon mall) at regular interval. There is free wifi in room and public areas. Room is spacious with 2 comfy queen bedded. Breakfast has good spread of western & japanese.

The staff is super nice and very helpful. The hotel is clean and they have a bus that takes you downtown and to the airport at fairly consistent intervals.

We recently stayed here two nights with my parter. It was more that we expected an airport hotel to be. Very clean rooms, comfortable bed and linen with all the amenities you need.
Free internet, free airport shuttle and free Narita downtown shuttle is a plus.
Staff very efficient, I would highly recommend to everyone.

We were given vouchers here due to a canceled United flight. It is sufficient enough. The best part of it is the small Japanese garden outside. That provided an hour's delight to my young son.

The room was OK, just pretty small. There was a fitness room and a pool, but we didn't use these.

My complaint was with how the meal voucher was handled. We had a 1500 yen voucher, but they gave one meal choice. It was a hamburger steak at one restaurant, or a chicken bento box in the other. Neither was sufficient for a dinner, and they certainly do not seem to be valued at the money. United is getting a short end of the stick here.

The hotel is in the middle of other hotels and the freeway. Nothing is here to really entertain.

Stay here only if United makes you.

The Hotel Shuttle will pick you up from the airport! The hotel has inexpensive rates, quiet and efficient. For an inexpensive meal, go downstairs to the little cafeteria (not the restaurant) and they will cook your order for you on the spot. The ramen noodles were excellent! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The free shuttle is a plus. Make sure you visit old Narita town. It is beautiful and stroll the streets and businesses. You can see fresh sushi being made... yes, live eel being prepared... now that is fresh! Again food is very reasonable and good too! There is a ramen shop there at all the crew members of the airlines eat called Ramen Bayashi. There is even a book on the shelf from each airline that the staff writes in, if you are not sure what you want to order. Stop in at the temple too and feel the culture.

Had a really good stay for one night in this hotel, room although small had a little sofa and English TV channels, we had booked a small double so bed size was to be expected. Booked early and got an excellent price for thia hotel which is right opposite the Hilton. Free airport shulttle and Narita town shuttle both of which we used and were excellent on time and quick.
Only one thing spoilt our experience here and that was that the bar for some reason was closed when we went for a night cap at nine O'clock, didn't eat at the hotel but ate in Narita at a super little noodle bar on the main street on the right before you reach the Barge pub full of non Japanese but huge portions and inexpensive.
Think a lot of airline staff use the hotel so expect early risers next door!

Room Tip: Book early for good price,

I stayed one night in Narita Excel Hotel Tokyo. I arrived by train from Tokyo and then took a taxi to the hotel. The taxi cost 2000 yen and took 10 minutes. The lobby is nice and big, but the room is small, a bit dusty and muffy. The room was very silent.

Given the cheap price, and that I only stayed for one night, the hotel was OK. I wouldn't want to stay for more than one night though.
