“Tripadvisor hype”
Reviewed June 27, 2014

The sushi was good, but not more than I expect from a sushi restaurant. From the rewievs on tripadvisor I was looking forward to the sushi experience of a lifetime, but the sushi was good, and nothing extraordinary. I recommend to eat her if you are staying in Narita and just want a decent sushi meal.
Maybe it could have been more special if we ordered differently. To order piece by piece seemed a little expensive averaging from 400-750¥ for just 1 piece,so we ordered a set. Visa and other credit cards accepted.

“Amazing sushi!”
Reviewed May 20, 2014

Amazing quality sushi! We took 2 sets - one for around $28 and one for $18 and both were superb. The selection of included is also outstanding. Don't expect much from the decor/atmosphere, but sushi are out of this world. Must go! Tip: it's located right before seven eleven.

“Simply Incredible”
Reviewed May 4, 2014

Probably the best sushi I have ever had. Checked it out today based on the review and this place really lived up to the hype. It's right next to The Barge (on the side near McDonald's/Train Station) and can be tricky to find since there's no signage with the business name in English. Totally worth the trip from the airport. As others have said it's a 7 minute train ride and 5 minute walk down a quaint avenue.

The hamachi, aji, toro, giant prawn, and regular tuna were all prepared perfectly and full of flavour. But my favorite by far was the eel. They heat it for a few minutes and add a bit of glaze--it's heavenly.

I had one other type of fish as well--cannot remember the name but the chef finished it with a blow torch and it was also incredible. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Narita.

“Excellent Reviews Right On Target”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

This was a great way to not stay in the airport during a long layover!
Narita is a quaint clean city that could not be easier to travel to from Narita Intl by train.
Simply pay 260 Yen and then take the blue line to its first stop. Follow the sights that point you toward the temple, 5-7 minutes later the restaurant will be on your right.

We sat at the sushi bar and were forced to have the chef that spoke very good English.
First course Tori, next course salmon, followed by something That looked like snapper. He flamed the skin with a torch, the sprinkles a bit of salt, and a squeeze of lemon. We also sampled the grilled jumbo prawns and giant edamame that is only in season for a few months.
Everything was delicious.
We were back at the airport in no time!

“Picture perfect Nigiri!”
Reviewed March 18, 2014

Everyone should try this place. Small and cozy, very little English but who needs English if they have pictures. And my standard for eating sushi just went waaay up, anything else in Canada just didn't measure up to this.
