Reviewed November 14, 2011

Room is narrow like the most of business hotels but clean. Location is near convention centre and convenient. Service is good.

This is a good hotel with friendly staff and a good breakfast buffet. However, the room I had was tiny and thee is no wifi, not even in the lobby.

Was in Makuhari for a conference for a couple of days. Decided to stay right next to Messe. Had a day for early morning meetings in Shimbashi, had to travel for an hour, not bad at all. Hotel condition is well kept, very clean. They had to practice energy saving after 311 so I did my part by opening up the Window which was nice. There were traffic from the streets but it's acceptable. If you have a chance to stay a Marina Sands Singapore and you walk out of the balcony, you know this is heaven. 10 mins walk to a mall where you can have meals. The so-called factory outlet right next to the mall is supposedly a spot. People said they purposely chose Apa and New Otani for footbridges connecting to Messe but I did route through Otani to my hotel and it also worked.

This is one of the finest hotels we have ever taken in Japan. Nicely furnished, extremely friendly staff and good breakfast are to be highly commended. Its proximity to the conference centre where our son has papers to present, its nearness to dining and shopping areas, and its closeness to the train station to Tokyo are also a treasure added to this hotel. We would highly recommend any potential visitors to stay in this hotel which is also modern, nicely furnished, and professionally managed.

Stayed at the Hotel during a major exhibition at the Makuhari Messe. Normally, all hotels in the area are booked, but we got a room through a local travel agent. The hotel is across the street from the Okura which is a deluxe hotel and quite expensive. It is also kitty corner from the Messe and easy to get to and from. The Makuhari train station is about 100 feet away as well as a shopping center. The Kisei buss goes direct from Narita. This is a perfect place to stay for an exposition. The hotel seems to be set up for the wedding business, and they have a huge and attentive staff. They are friendly and attentive. The rooms are ok, nothing fancy but larger than most Tokyo business hotels. The only small negative is the breakfast room on the top floor. It has an outstanding view but the offerings are limiting like many Japanese hotels. Anyway, just 100 feet from a shopping center with food court and many family style restaurants. If you can get in this hotel it is a winner.

The staff bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was small compared to American standards, but clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is close to train station, so plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Also, only a few train stops away from Disney.
