“Slow and sure”

Would be good if it runs faster. The stop at intersection is too often.

“great little trams”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2012

much to recommmend. They run a long course, both 2 and 5 have almost the same route so no difference which you take. All the sights are along the tram routes. Get in from back and pay when you get out in the front (unless you have a day pass, which is cheap

“Useful public transport that takes you to the major attractions”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2012

The Hakodate tram is a useful public transportation method that will take you to major tourist destinations. The majority are modern trams but the old fashioned, early 20th century trams still run, carrying tourists around. For more information on using the tramline, the local tourist information booth at the JR Hakodate station provides a useful free map.
