Conveniently located next to JR Toyama Station Ground Level, the restaurant can be easily located with one queuing line for dine-in and the other created for takeaway.
Shiroebi-tei serves one of Toyama's local specialities, shiroebi or white shrimp. We ordered both the Shiroebi Tendon or white shrimp tempura rice bowl as well as Shiroebi Sashimi Don or white shrimp sashimi rice bowl. Depending on your preference, I actually like both. The batter is light and the sauce is heavenly. Expect queues as the restaurant is small with at most 20 seating. Go for their specialities, shiroebi as you can eat other dishes in the menu elsewhere. I thought it was quite pricey (less than 2000 Yen) given the portions served. However, the food is well worth the queues.
