We were picked up from Kagaonsen by the ryokan pick-up service. On arrival we were shown to a reciving room with a great view of the ryokan's traditional Japanese garden and served macha, a traditional Japanese tea ceremony tea and mochi.
We were assigned a servicing staff, Tei who looked after us throughout our stay. This is the first time we experienced a designated service staff who not only served us our meals but took care of all our enquiries from train departure schedule to departure time for complimentary transfer to nearby shrine for sightseeing.
Our dinner and breakfast were served in our room.
Our room on the ground floor has great view of the traditional garden with koi swimming in the pondMore
