Thanks to Trip Advisor for helping us find this place. We're looking for sushi although this was not exclusively a sushi shop. Sushi was one of the main items but the chef also has a lot of cooked dishes that were original and delicious. Not sure it was traditional Japanese cooking, maybe more of a contemporary touch to it. As mentioned in many of the reviews, chef speaks English which helps a lot for ordering and understanding menu. The restaurant is small, intimate and cozy. Overall great experience.

Just go - not much more to be said. The chef and his small team turn out really top notch food. Several of the dishes were superb, all were great. We didn't have the recommended sashimi as we had some earlier in the day but it looked great. Highlights for us were the chopped mackerel with herbs and octopus with ponzu but I don't think you could go very far wrong with anything on the menu. English spoken. Highly recommended

We loved the reviews so we decides to try! Outside is all written in Japanese, very cosy atmosphere, we were seated at a table but as soon as 2 places were available they moved us to the counter in front of the chefs. We ordered so many things and the more we watched dishes being prepared the more we wanted them! They have very original dishes such as the pressed sushi, made into a sort of brick mould and layered, beef with onions, scallops amazing, the mixed sashimi plate also very good, amazing flavours and amazing attention to details! Money well spent!!!

Great atmosphere, exquisite attention of service and fantastic food. Sushi, sashimi, tempura, croquettes, pear ice cream delicious ... all thanks to the explanations of the chef, the helpful teacher.

Simply....great, We had a fantastic meal here. Wonderful chef, wonderful food. Great time. Highly recommend.
