We spent one night of our Smartours trip in the Crowne Plaza, and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located.

We booked via the IHG Priority Club website and got a cracking deal on this hotel – cheapest by far of all places we stayed in Japan, including breakfast for 2, which was a fabulous buffet of every kind of Japanese and western fayre.

We only stayed 1 nt so were happy with our tiny room, but it was very modern and in good taste and quality. Excellent location – literally next door to the train station, but you would never know – never heard a train from the room.

We came to Kanazawa to visit the gardens, but also enjoyed the castle and LOVED the modern art museum – not just the exhibits but the building and space itself. We got around quite easily by bus and taxi.

Kanazawa’s supposed to be a foodie capital but we were shattered and so ate in the hotel, which we enjoyed. Internet is 100 yen for 10 mins but the fastest we found in Japan, so worth it.

I spent one night at this hotel after travelling by bus from Takayama. The location is perfect, just next to the train and bus station, so ideal to go on foot with your cases from/to hotel.
I did a reservation through their web page and became a bargain, so I got an excellent quality/price relation.
It is a superior 4 stars, rooms and buildings are beautiful and modern. Breakfast and dinner is quite good. Staff is friendly and helpful. My room was very small, but very comfortable, clean, enough for one night.
I think is the best choice in Kanazawa to see the city and travel around.

We got a good price on this hotel and it was beautiful, a true five star experience. The staff were very friendly and spoke English, they always greeted us as we were coming and going. It is next door to the train station, across the road from the bus-station and a big designer mall. The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable! The diner downstairs was really nice, a quality restaurant with a nice selection of soups, salads, entrees and drinks. Being that it was christmas when we went, they had a massive christmas tree set up which was beautiful. As a priority club member we also got special card keys which made us feel special. We didnt dine at the restaurants above ground floor because they were fairly expensive, but if the ground floor diner is any indication, they would have been fantastic!!

Standard 4 star hotel. Very convenient located right next to Kanazawa train station. The station has a great bakery so we got our breakfast there each morning. Long walk to town, so get the shuttle bus or a taxi. The tourist circle bus is convenient for seeing all the sites in one day.

The ANA hotel rooms are clean and good standard. The staff were friendly and helped us arrange for our large suitcases to be sent ahead to our hotel in Kyoto. We did not eat at the hotel because Kanazawa has some great restaurants and bars.
