This little family run restaurant was absolutely amazing. Unobtrusive, great food and a lovely atmosphere in a little town in the middle of Japan.
The chef was very friendly and spoke some English, enough to order food and chat a little about where we were from.
The food was fantastic - local Hida mozzarella on the caprese salad and amazing wood fired pizza made right in front of you in the big oven. Wine and beer was nice too.
Was well worth the walk as this place isn’t in the centre of town but would highly recommend venturing out for it (even though it wasn’t on the Main Street it wasn’t far, about 10 minutes).
