“Trip to all history of Toyota”
Reviewed April 5, 2014

Very interested trip to history of car manufacturer number one in the world. The most interested was to see, how the technology and industry is changed, first in textile industry in that time when Toyota start to spin cotton and then in car industry since 1936.
Toyota have been forerunner in bouth industry area and it is shown very good in museum. There is nice collection of Toyota car modells, but also very interested example of production with idea of JOT (just on time) running assembly lines. Also museum is showing way to future, many example of new safety and environment technology.
Very recommendable, if you will see not only the cars but you will know more of car industry generally - and why not also of textile industry.

“The best automotive museum”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

Being in Japan on a business visit, my Japanese friend took me to this museum during one weekend.
Though this facility is operated by Toyota, it displays cars made by a variety of automotive OEM's.
It was also good experience to touch a car (Cadillac) used by the President of US (displayed here).
In addition to cars, this facility also displays a set of goods used in traditional Japanese homes (such as home appliances from previous generation) which was good to know.
Teachings of Kiichiro Toyoda (founder of Toyota Motor Corporation) is displayed as metal carving next to his small statue which is worth reading.
There is a restaurant attached to this place where you get a variety of Japanese dishes that are also very good.
The whole place is clean, quite and well maintained.
Highly recommend this place to all tourists passing by Nagoya (Aichi).

“English-friendly automotive museum”
Reviewed March 16, 2014

I went to the Toyota museum with a few friends. We spent a couple of hours there, but since I read everything, I was not able to finish viewing every exhibit.
The staff are friendly, and some speak decent English. Almost all exhibits are in English, and staff will also hand out a booklet that has more details in English. Normally I find English language exhibits to be a hit-or-miss with correct English, but its obvious Toyota spent money on decent translations.
The cars represent a very good cross-section of both Japanese and non-Japanese models. The Japanese vehicles are on one floor, while the non-Japanese models occupy another floor.
Overall, I would return with friends, and spend more time viewing every vehicle.

“A great experience especially the weaving machines”
Reviewed March 6, 2014 via mobile

So I went there with a group of exchange students . We didn't really had enough time to explore everything due to lack of time . The weaving machines were really amusing and definitely worth seeing . I didn't really spent much time in the car sections but I just briefly scanned through some cars on exhibit . I love the trucks ! I hope I get the chance to go there once more ... The techno land for the kids are so-so for adults , but still , with a group of friends , it was still a great experience !

“Get Inspired!!!!”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

It's not a museum it's a time machine
It will make you a child first and then it will carry you through various hand loom technologies older than you. Slowly with advancing technology you will grow and you will find yourself with rejuvenating energy of inspiration when you reach the final hand loom show piece an epitome of ultimate use of futuristic technologies a fully automated knitting printer using several color threads to paint images on cloth from input of digital images. You will be a different person after going through this journey.
And when you think that this is all what this museum can offer then you will get the surprise of your life when you pass through dark tunnel suddenly illuminated by infinite reflections of journey of Toyota. After this you will be transcended into a different world of automobile technologies put naked on the showcase to take away whatever you can with your intellectual capabilities. This museum an make a child to come out as adult and an adult to come out as a kid. A dream destination for mechanical engineers, a must visit place before you die, it's Mecca of technology, it's my fridge magnet, it's .....
