“Nagoya Castle”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

A castle in the city, closed to subway station
Although it is re-built, actually some areas are completed and opened recently, it still have its historic value and good for understanding the Japanese history and culture

“Beautiful from the outside”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

Nagoya castle and the gardens are beautiful from the outside. The castle is a reconstruction with some collectibles displayed inside. I was not very impressed with the inside of the castle. I was disappointed.

“Great Reconstruction”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

We recently were able to tour the Nagoya Castle. They are celebrating their 400th year currently. This is an important castle in Japanese History. Built during the Shogun era, it was destroyed during WWII. Reconstruction is meticulous - allowing people to see how the the Palace grounds and buildings looked originally. I look forward to returning in a couple years to witness the progress.

“Fully worth the time!”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

There is little to compare to this, especially in today's world. All these treasures are a must to see before they become 'unavailable'... Make the time, spare the time and take the family. This is such a historic place, and imagine how they put it together! How times have changed...
