Very close to train station. Although the room is small, there is free hotspring on the top floor of the hotel. One thing you shouldn't miss is the free noodles between 9:30-11:30pm. The quality of the noodle is very good.

I stayed two nights in September. The room was clean but small (typical in Japan?), front desk with English-speaking staff, buffet breakfast was ok at adequate price. The location is about 15 minutes’ walk from the Nagoya station. It took me double the time pulling a suitcase and stopped twice asking for direction. Although shuttle bus service is provided opposite the station, it’s very difficult for a first time visitor to find the pick up point. The shuttle service is only up to 8:30 pm on weekdays and 8 pm on weekends and holidays. Overall, this place was overrated. There are other options with better deals (40% less) in the same area with just 5 minutes walk from the station (where I stayed for my return visit from Gero).

This hotel has an outdated rule that guests with tattoo are not allowed to use their hot spring. Tattoo is very common both in the West and also the East. It’s no longer a symbol of gangsters. Just look at those top names like Angelina Jolie and David Beckham, they have numerous tattoos on their bodies. Of course they don’t stay at the Dormy. I (with one small tattoo on my arm) had no problem using public and hotel hot springs in Gero.

Stayed here for three nights. Very impressed with their service~ the staff speaks OK english and they're always friendly and accommodating.

Hotel is one of the cheapest in the area. It's located around 8-10 minutes walk to Nagoya station. They provide free noodles at nights for their guests between 21:30-23:00pm. They provide bikes for their guests to use free of charge. There's a public bath & sauna on the 1st floor for their guests, they separate the times for males & females.

We booked a double room and although it is small, it is clean & modern and air con worked well in our room. There's a small kitchenette and fridge. You can borrow pans, cutlery & utensils from the front desk.

Overall good value for money. Would definitely choose this hotel again. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a cheap & good value accommodation at Nagoya.

We stayed at the Dormy Inn Nagoya for 2 nights and found the room to be a bit old and small, but clean. It was a bit stuffy in the room, but the air conditioning worked well. It's about 10 minutes' walk from Nagoya station, though they do have a free shuttle bus that runs to and from the station in the morning. Other good points: cabled internet in the room, free guest laundry facilities, free ramen noodles at night, and an onsen downstairs. On the down side, the hotel is not in a great location if you want to be close to Nagoya Castle, or food and entertainment, but you can catch the bus from the station all around Nagoya, so it's not a big deal. We got a great deal online and so felt that overall the hotel was great value for money.

The hotel is about 10 mins walk from train station. Shuttle bus to train station is available but only in the morning, and from train station only in afternoon. Free noodles available at night. Room is a bit old and small but clean. The public bath with sauna is really relaxing which I like the most. Note the bath is small and it swaps between male and female use depends on the time. Hotel is quite at night as only very few small izakaya nearby. Need to walk a few blocks if you look for shopping/entertainment at night.
