I would recommend everyone to go to this resort
Feel relaxed and calm and have all you need
The staff are very helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable

The resort has a diving club and we enjoyed the experience for the first time

If you want to enjoy a resort type holiday , i would say this place is OK.Otherwise its a bit far from aqaba downtown and taxis will rip you ( atleast 7JOD MORNING TIME AND NIGHT 10jod ) . If you can pay this amount to taxi for couple of time better pay that to aqaba downtown hotel and stay there you can save time atleast.

Room Tip: stay away if you want to explore aqaba

Do not stay here. They fraudulently claimed we did not show up and charged our credit card. Dirty bottom sheet. No top sheet. Stained mattress. No towels until we made them give us some. We checked out early and paid for one night but they tried to make us pay more than our reservation stated. Still fighting to get the fraudulent charge removed fro m our credit card. Staff is weirdly surly.

The one thing that stands out about our stay was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Ahmed, while not speaking much English, is so helpful and puts so much effort in the way he serves the guests. The owner, Hamesh, went as far as to invite us to his family home to say thank you for our custom (and even offered us a free extra night if we wanted to stay longer). He also introduced us to Hafez - the taxi driver who can sort anything out for you. His prices are fair, he knows Jordan like the back of his hand, and he speaks fluent English (having studied at university in London). While food is scarce in this part of town, they always tried their best to create something for us to eat at breakfast or dinner (if we requested).

The wifi was slow and not available in the rooms. Bear in mind, tourism is very slow in Jordan so you may not be able to get a) any food in some restaurants (they just don't buy it in if there's not tourists) b) the expected facilities of your hotel (things shut down to save money) c) range of choice to go on trips without paying extra fees (there will always be a taxi driver willing to take you outside of official excursions, just expect to pay for it).

Room Tip: Pay extra for the Deluxe Room with Terrace

I stayed at Bait AlAqaba in November this year. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, specifically the owner Abu Mohamed and Zaid were incredibly efficient organising trips, providing personal recommendations and useful information about the area, getting cheap taxi rides to the city centre and even following up that I was having a good time on said trips. Zaid and the rest of the staff waited on me hand and foot, whenever I was hungry, or thirsty, and making sure one of them was around when I returned late from the city after dinner. It was also a real pleasure staying in a Jordanian hotel rather than one of the large plastic international ones on the other side of the bay as well as having nice people to chat to in the staff members.
