Berenice beach is located outside the city, all hotels provide you a (fee) shuttle to get there.
Berenice has an entrance fee; it is very clean, with 3 big pools, a restaurant a boutique selling dead sea products...
The beach is very clean with long chairs and a little snack joint on the beach that provides the Dead sea mud (fee) you can rent towels as well....

We were there during Ramadan in the summer so it was very empty. Made for a lot of space on the beach and by the very nice infinity pools. Very clean and beautiful grounds. Snorkeling was inexpensive and provided some great views underwater. Wish they were able to clean the bottom of the sea in the snorkeling area though- lots of trash and bottles. Towels provided and friendly staff.

We got ourselves some kind of deal via our hotel. 20 dinars for admittance, snorkeling and lunch and I must say it was well spend. We went here during Ramadan so it was very quite, but I imagine there's plenty of space for more people. The pools are big and so is the beach. They've got a big snorkeling reef directly in front of the beach which is really worth seeing. Ate a pizza, tasty and way to big - a big plus.

It's an affordable easy all in solution for a very pleasant day.

Our family spent 5 full days here and never got bored. Our 13 year old daughter enjoyed the snorkeling, para sailing, diving lessons, swimming in the red sea, and playing in the pools. Our 21 year son enjoyed swimming up to the pool bar and talking with the single ladies. My husband loved the snorkeling and sleeping under the umbrellas. I enjoyed the food selection, wait staff, and not having to make meals! We were able to book a sunset dinner cruise that lasted two hours in the red sea at sunset. The sea was mild and the food was excellent and the staff was kind. We could see Egypt and Israels borders light up at night. We were taken care of very well. The facilities are better than the five star country clubs here in Chicago. I will come back someday.

This is a lovely escape from Aqaba city centre. We bought tickets through the hotel, for 7.5D shuttle and entry, for 20 dinar shuttle, entry, meal and snorkel hire. It has three pools, the main pool has a swim up bar and is adults only. Plenty of sunlougers and parasols by the pool and on the beach. The beach is clean, water activities available too. Changing room and toilets very clean also.

We had pizza and a cheeseburger with fries for our lunches, both were lovely. If you were to buy separately around 7JD a meal. Drinks are a little pricey. 1.5l water 2.5JD, cola 1.75JD.

My only problem with this place is its a bit loud, both the pool and beach have music blasting. For a little while its fine but best of 80s/90s on shuffle gets a bit tiring.
