All the corals are dead and the dirtiest beach I've ever seen (lots of tobacco stubs and food left overs). Local people stairs at you.

We spent a delightful afternoon scuba diving in the Japanese Garden with Saif from Mr Frogman's Dive Center in Aqaba.

Beach is brick type rocks alongside the naval base. Poor coral and lack of fish which was very disappointing. The reef is very close to the shore with waves breaking. Entry into sea was from a jetty at the hotel with broken steps.

The beach looked beautiful and almost empty. We thought this to be a very nice ecological area, but the beach was littered with garbage and there were no facilities, just 2 youth hostels down the road where you could get a drink. Glad we stayed in Aquaba city.

The beach has beautiful white sands, clear water and reefs shallow enough to snorkel around 20 m out. It could be STUNNING, however the cigarette butts lining the tideline and empty bags, cans and bottles totally mars the natural beauty:( It IS interesting, however, to see how the marine life have adapted and use empty cans and bottles for homes or protection. The butts and bags, though, are sure to be detrimental to the long-term beauty of the beach and marine park:(
