The Fish In is in the Kempinski Hotel in Aqaba. You must exit the hotel on the pool side and work your way around to the end and then step down and through a glass door to find it. I never would have found this restaurant except I was with my deputy who had dined there before. But I urge you to get out your compass and keep up the hunt because when you find it, you will be pleased. Unless you're carrying a light wallet.
The restaurant is small and not particularly fancy. The floors are concrete. The tables are wood. The chairs are comfortable. And that's all I can say about the ambiance!
The menu is extensive, starting with a number of lobster dishes and ranging from soups and salads to pasta to poultry, fish and meat. And the dessert menu is very well done. I had onion soup and veal with blue cheese sauce and gelato. My dinner was $105.00. While expensive, it is not snobby and the service was impeccable.
