“Syrian Palace beauty”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

Just up the road to the right from Ali Baba's and a must.
The place is upstairs in what looks like a neighbours upstairs flat with all the walls removed. Cheesy tables with sand and shells displayed under glass and Jordanian decor but super. All nationalities around as well as Bedouins and Jordanians.
We ordered a mixed kebab meal and

“Look past the exterior, amazing! Too much food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013 via mobile

If you look past the exterior this restaurant serves amazing food. We all tried different dishes and all enjoyed. We had starters, drinks, water and main meal for 38 dinars for four people. It was A LOT of food. Each portion could have served 2 people easily, or 3 kids. You could easily have shared a meal and still be stuffed. The restaurant was full with locals and tourists both upstairs and on the terrace.

I can highly recommend the chicken makloubeh. The khubez and baba ganouj were lovely too! I may even eat here again tomorrow it was that good!

“Outstanding food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013

Both of our meals here were over-the-top fantastic. We had so much food that we couldn't finish it, even though we very much wanted to - it was so tasty! Prices are very budget friendly, too, especially considering the portion sizes. Highly, highly recommended.

“unconcerned”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2013

I red the reviews before going there but unfortunately
not find what I expected. True they have huge location
but that is it. Service is tooooo slooow. Foods are not
really cheap and tasteless things. People was never minded
and the owner is looking unconcerned and very foxy.
Sorry but never again.

Little Tips ; at the same Street you will see small
shops which are serving local foods at more
reasonable prices ofcourse more fresh and yummy.

And If you can walk up 15 minutes from city center
to the South side, you will see the dozens of food shops
at the right side of the last traffic light. Theese places
are full of the locals, which means more fresh,
more tasty and more cheap local foods, shawermas
and fresh fishes.

In this country try to avoid big label, big name
places, They are too foxy and waiting for to
kiss you.

“Great value and nice views of Mosque”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2013

Good traditional food for reasonable price. We get lots of bread and appetisers included so only order a main dish as you won't want any more. Upstairs has a nice view of the mosque.
