We staid here with our family with young children. Beautiful hotel, very comfortable. Restaurant is really great - with a sumptuous buffet of very good quality (which is often not the case).
As we were here during a weekend, we got a flavour of local tourism. Frankly, the atmosphere was joyful, lots of people enjoying themselves and also involving us. The sports activities drew a lot of strong Jordan men with hairy chests, but they were very kind to my 11 year old daughter and made her really part of the team.
The breakfast was remarkable - because in Arab countries people put the food in the middle of the table to share together, there are two buffets: one is the central restaurant buffet and the second is the little buffet on each of the tables. Never before have I seen so much food wasted and we felt a little uneasy about it - but I guess it's cultural.
The breakfast and the restaurant were also remarkable for the great service despite an immensely full restaurant. These staff members were so effective and hospitable - they deserve an award.
All in all a really good hotel, top quality, perhaps a little too busy in the weekends but also that builds an insight into Jordan.More
