Bedouin Moon Village
Ranked #20 of 41 Hotels in Aqaba

The best thing about this hotel is Ronnie, you will soon know who I mean if you choose to stay here. He is usually found on reception always wearing his hat, while we were there he also cooked breakfast, organised our taxis and bus tickets, waited on at dinner time, all with a smile and time for a chat.
On arrival he told us the pool was closed and the restaurant would not be open until later in the week, we were given the option to stay at a different hotel. As compensation he offered us a family room next to the pool and seeing as the hotel doesn't have a bar (despite being mentioned in previous reviews) he would allow us to bring in cans of beer from the off licence in Aqaba.
Remember this is a budget hotel with very small basic rooms, but if you want somewhere to stay right on South Beach with plenty of sunbeds around the pool, lovely comfortable shaded seating areas and free wifi, then you will not go wrong booking here.
A taxi to Aqaba will cost you 5JD but coming back can be a lot of hassle to get this rate involving haggling with and walking away from taxi drivers. It is best to get Ronnie to sort a taxi driver and get his card so you can ring him when you want to return.
South Beach has great snorkeling or you just walk into the sea with the coral starting at just a couple of feet depth if you aren't confident enough for deep water. Unfortunately as stated in previous reviews it is not the cleanest of beaches and the local young lads do tend to stare, My wife did find it quite amusing as she pointed out she is old enough to be there grandmother.
Over all good value for money hotel, habib Ronnie if you read this.

Room Tip: Ask for a family room if possible, it is worth even paying extra as the doubles are very small.

Overall a very enjoyable stay, the rooms are fairly basic but have everything you need. the pool area is lovely, surrounded by alcoves with Arabic cushions and rugs where you can laze around pool during the day reading. The restaurant provides good food at cheap prices but also get a cab into Aqaba and tryout some of the local restaurants in the evening. It can get quite chilly in the evening during winter so take some warm clothes.

This is the best hotel I stayed in, tried many in Aqaba! Its very close to the beach an the atmosphere in the pool area is so relaxing. Staff is always there to help an the food is very good. Rooms are basic but very clean. Its the perfect stay for people who want to do diving, snorkling or just relax. On the roof you can see amazing sunsets and its also possible to sleep on the roof if you like to. I have no complans, just good experince with this place!

staff were wonderful, helpful, friendly. Walk to the beach and walk right out to the reefs. Kids loved the small pool after the beach.
Rooms were small and simple; bed bathroom.

i stayed Bedouin in 2011 . Staff helpfull and smiley face . Reception guy can talk good english but the other staff can't talk. But this is not problem , they have english menu in their restaurant. Food nice price and tasty. Hotel 20 metres to beach. From hotel to Aqaba city center 7-10 minutes by taxi and price was normal. Room was clean and big. Also bathroom was very clean. Nice price and wonderfull accommodation for budget traveler.
