We travelled to Jordan in March, despite the security fears in the Middle East. We saw that there are not many tourists in the city although it is their high season. However, as one of the few foreign tourists at this hotel, we were shocked at the way we were treated specially by the officer on duty Omer who charged us an extra night just as we were leaving. However we had settled the invoice a few hours before with 0 balance and were not warned that if we stay a few more hours at our room we would be charged one more night. Just for a few hours waiting for our flight time at our room we were charged one full night plus breakfast.
Moreover, we had asked to have a wake up call which we never received. Plus, during our stay, we asked the reception about a bus to Petra, we were told that there was a bus leaving at 06:30 in the morning from the city, but when we went to the bus stop there was no bus and we had to take a taxi. All these three points, specially the last minute bad treatment made us quite upset, specially when the tourist season is sufferring in the Middle East we should have been treated in a much better way.More
