“Great Hotel to Relax”
Reviewed October 13, 2012 via mobile

One of the best hotels to relax and to Swim, location is around 15 minutes by car from Aqaba city center, room is clean and big with perfect sea view, breakfast is amazing and have a lot of items, and last, staff are polite and so collobrative.

The only issue that i noticed with this hotel that the check in process is very slow because only one staff at reception in the Shift.

I honestly do not understand what people complain about. The hotel is in an excellent location and it is really spotless. I was looking for some dust, dirt, something but found nothing.

We arrived at 2.30pm and our room was almost ready. They brought in fresh bathrobes and refreshed the mini bar as soon as we took possession of the room. A/C is very silent and works perfectly well.

The staff is very friendly and they do their best to make you happy and make you feel at home. Food is very good, buffet breakfast is massive, you could spend the entire morning just eating there and then roll to the beach on a full stomach.

We made a phone call from the hotel and we weren't charged. You can use PCs and do print outs at the business center for free. You can ask for a late checkout (2pm) and it is for free. There is a free wi-fi in the room that you can use for as many days as you want.

The infinite pool is right on the beach. A lot of Clorox in the water but at least it was clean. 1 of the swimming pools was closed but that did not bother us, plenty of other places where to swim.

The evening show (live arabic music as well as bellydancing) was very nice and entertaining.

The beach is big and clean. I would definitely go back to the Radisson if in Aqaba.

It was the third visit to Radisson Blu this year for my daughter and I, and as before we were warmly welcomed upon arrival, this time with the full family.

The hotel has everything you want for a family vacation, beach, pools, friendly staff and beautiful space. The breakfast is on until 1030 so just rest your morning in bed, or take a swim before breakfast. To keep us interrested, there is a need to improve some issues that seem to be more of a management issue than to be blamed on staff. The smell in the bathrooms experienced on the last visit was also the case in two of three rooms we had. One bathroom didnot always have water. And the keys for the rooms repeatedly did not work. Finally we found out that the batteries in the lock on the door needed to be changes. We were also not pleased to learn that the main pool was closed, due to maintenance, the second was only for adults, and we were told to use only the last small pools for us and the kids. With so few guests we do not see that it needed to be so important to have the second largest pool closed for kids, when the large pool was closed for the three days we were there.

It is a great place, but management beed to kee up the maintenance of the hotel. We can warmely recommend Heatvawe, the restaurant bye the sea as a change to the main restaurant. Excellent Thai and Asian food and friendly staff.

Room Tip: Ann rooms seem nice, discuss your needs with the reception. they will help ypu chose a room that sui...

Nice hotel and location except for the following:
I booked the hotel through Expedia and reserved one standard room with a king size bed. I notified Expedia that we were 2 adults and 2 children (ages 10 and 14) and that we would need roll-away beds for the kids. Expedia put in my special request but advised me to call the hotel to confirm regarding the roll-away beds. When I called the hotel, the front desk told me that the policy is to only provide one roll-away bed per room. They did not offer me a solution for my second child.
When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that since there was no standard room with a king size bed available, I was being upgraded to a Deluxe room. The room was very nice, but still the couch was too small for a child to sleep on and they only brought me one roll-away bed. Again, when I asked for another roll-away bed I was told that my 14 year old child was considered an adult and that they could not provide me with another bed.
Where was he supposed to sleep? Why did they accept my reservation if they could not provide me with the proper amenities?
In addition, the resort has no drinking fountains. After you finish the two complementary bottles of water you are given you are forced to buy bottled water at an expensive price.

The property is generally nice and offer good option for leisure stays. The location is good if you looking for beach, pools and sun. But it's very far from Aqaba center and King Hussein Airport, so be prepared for rather expensive taxi ride. The most of staff were friendly and professional. Their service level is relatively high. The room are nice and comfy, however not top modern. The pool and beach area is really nice and enough for spend lot of good time there. Also the breakfast was nice and fresh. The real problem are the prices in the hotel's bars and restaurantes. Everything is overpriced and there is no other option due to Radisson location.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and the stay was amazing. The staff was very helpful and understanding especially Bayan at the reception who was great all the time and is always wearing a genuine smile and goes out of her way to help. The hotel itself is amazing situated in an beautiful are near Aqaba with a direct access to the beach. The design of the hotel buildings is good and blends well with the surrounding mountains and beach, in addition the pools (especially the infinity pool) are great. The rooms are great, and the room-service is quick as expected from a great 5 stars hotel. The breakfast was very tasty with a great variety of food including cooking stations for omelets, waffles, and saj. The prices of food and drinks in the hotel are a bit too high, but that is to be expected in hotels in Jordan. One last addition, the massage at the hotel is to die for it managed to remove months worth of stress away! Overall a great 5 stars hotel with a good value for money and great service.

Room Tip: Good rooms overall. Higher floors have a good view, ground floors provide direct access to the pools
