I consistently stay at this hotel when flying out of Buffalo or going down from Canada to shop. It is a fabulous hotel and although it is showing its age (they are beginning a large renovation this year), it is still in great shape, very clean and worth the stay. The staff are always excellent and it is close to the Airport and shopping. They have 2-3 very reliable Airport Shuttles.

We stayed over New Years. Did a few day trips to Rochester, the Falls, Toronto. The hotel is a good location to bounce around the sites. Plus you avoid the jacked up prices for the hotels right next to the falls in Canada.

Cons - Drinks in bar are weak, get beer/wine. Beds weren't the best, too hard. Check their website before booking, it appeared they were about to start some renovations.

Pros - Price. Front desk staff were really nice, gave us an early check in. Free highspeed wireless in the lobby. Good location. nice indoor.pool and hot tub if you catch it without children.

We booked this hotel through Price Line and was a little nervous that we would get the worst room in the house. We checked and found out we got a room on the 10th fL. The hotel was great and the room was fab!. We got a king bed which was roomy with a sofa bed in it. Made it easy traveling with a young child. The hotel has been renovated so its modern, new and very clean. There is a pool which is only good if you have kids and not for people who want to relax in peace. The location is excellent. You are surrounded by lots of inexpensive restaurants and if you dont want to eat out check out Walgreens near by. they have prepared hot food which is yummy to go. Boulevard Mall and Eastern Hills Mall is close by as well as all the great stores such as Target, Babies R Us etc.
The staff was fantastic. We asked for a fridge in our room and house keeping even brought a microwave in for us as well. The staff were awesome and we would definitely come back again.

This was my second stay at the Buffalo Marriot. I stayed with my husband and kids over the March break in 2007 and stayed again a few days after Christmas in 07 with a girlfriend to do some shopping.

The location is great. Really close to the Boulevard Mall, DSW Shoes, TJ Maxx, etc. You can find everything in the vicinity you could possibly want and then some. Restaurants are plentiful in the area, but both times I have chosen to stay in the hotel and eat. The food is really good, the prices are reasonable and the environment is welcoming. There are some fine dining entres on the menu as well as casual fare. A good drink list and some nice wines were available. There is also a bar adjoining the restaurant with a lot of tv screens - great for the sports enthusiast. Pay the extra few dollars with your hotel fee for the buffet breakfast. Well worth it. Omelettes made to order, pastries, bacon, waffles, fresh fruit. Fabulous. Something for everyone and lots for the kids too.

The staff are helpful and friendly. I accidentally ordered a movie and it was removed from my bill without any hassle.

The rooms are large and very clean. The beds are comfortable and the linens are lovely.

This will continue to be the place I stay when doing some cross border shopping.

Nice hotel - very clean, very good sized rooms and really comfortable beds. Stayed 1 night for Black Friday Sales and the staff had little maps laid out to all local malls. Very friendly staff and very helpful. Clean bathrooms. Great place to stay if you need to stay a night between Buffalo and the airport!

Just finished stay in Buffalo. The hotel is in the process of undergoing renovations. My room was older style. The room despite its age was tidy and functional. The hotel had a nice pool and spa. I had the breakfast deal and if you can arrrange it it was a nice treat. The breakfast buffet was very good with good service. The hotel has ample free parking. The rooms seem well insulated with very little outside noise filtering into the room.

It's really decent hotel, close to Niagara Falls, but still closer to big city, like Buffalo. They have 2 swimming pools, indoor and outdoor, small gym and even Starbucks corner. Breakfast Delicious! I definitely recommend it to both business and leisure travellers.
