Clean popular places good selection of burgers, sandwiches, salads and and icecream.

Good for children and you also see lots of empty nest couples dining alone. I personally don't like the hard surfaces which amplifiy the noise in the dining rooms, but nobody else seems to mind it.

It is a Buffalo favorite, so I go along for the ride.

Frozen Custard is awesome! Many different options for frozen desserts. Also has great hot fast food and a few vegetarian options.

Loved this place. This place absolutely destroys Dairy Queen in Canada.

We had the small twist in a cup. Awesome both times. So creamy!

“Average at best, very slow service, a bit pricey”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

We did not have ice cream or custard but had 2 adult combo meals and 2 kids meals and it approached $40. That is way out of line for fast food. The food was very average.

The service was terribly slow (it was busy but not crazy) and the cashier was new and seemed to be put on the counter to sink or swim with no training. Staff were very polite.

For almost $40 we can go to TGI Fridays, Bob Evans, Cracker Barrel, 5 Guys etc and get a better lunch....

We will never go back for lunch and if we take the kids for ice cream, we'll stay with what we know for now (Cold Stone).

“consistantly good”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

Huge menu of food....hard to get past the reliable beef on weck. Although, I had a great tuna sandwich here....sounds funny to say that about a tuna sandwich, but it was really good. Storemade custard is a cut above...much better than the too sweet mixes most custard stands serve. Large selection of hard ice creams as well. Ask for a sugar cake cone....same price and much better. A Buffalo institution for good reason.
