“Great wings!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2014

Great wings! I am new to the area and by no means a wing aficionado, but I thought they were delicious! Definitely better than anchor bar, which is credited with creating the buffalo chicken wing, but I can't say if they are the best yet. If you do go, be prepared for a line any day of the week!

“Awful wings and everything else on the menu was artificial and frozen”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2014

Read some favorable reviews, but I was incredibly mislead. Avoid it and check out one of the other numerous offerings for wings and fresh food in the area. Their grilled cheese sandwich was not edible. Even the name fools you, as there is no patio. Just some dirty wooden picnic tables near a very busy street.

“Just OK”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2014

I guess I had higher expectations for the wings here. It was ok, but I guess I thought there would be something special here, but it was not.

“Best Wings”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

There is a lot of controversy regarding chicken wings around here but my personal favorite wings are from Duffs. Their blue cheese is just right and they are generous with the celery. The french fries are delicious dipped into the blue cheese :) Service is quick and when it looks like you might have to wait a long time it is deceiving usually less than 30 minutes when they are packed.

“Not really an excellent rating, just a MUST DO while in Buffalo”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

This is one of 2 restaurants you must visit to try a local favorite: chicken wings. (The other is Anchor Bar, which claims to have created the Buffalo Wing.)

I have not eaten here in several years, but it's a local favorite and can get quite busy on weekends. The interior has remained relatively unchanged since its opening decades ago; there are long tables, basic chairs, and condiments placed on each table. Basically, no frills.

I've never been a fan of wings and I am now a vegetarian, but I can tell you that the locals love this place. The wings are extremely spicy, so don't go overboard and get "hot" unless you like really spicy food. Dip the wings in blue cheese while you eat them; they will probably be served with some combination of celery and carrots, just like any other place in the area.
