I would like to take this opportunity to let everybody know that my stay at the Musketeer Lodge in Bulawayo was absolutely excellent in all respects. The food, friendly staff, and hands-on owner management were all outstanding. Having traveled the world and staying in many similar facilities, (in fact, I have been to Zimbabwe 28 times) I would rate this lodge as being #1!!

A wonderful recommendation considering we were not planning to stop off in Bulawayo. Moira and Rudy (the managers) could not have been warmer or more hospitable. No task was too great to make us comfortable and the amenities had all that you could need for a family with two children under two. It was lovely to sit on the verandah overlooking a gorgeous garden while having a cold beer and sipping on a gin and tonic.
Unlike some lodges in Bulawayo, dinner is available - and this was excellent quality and value for money. Breakfast was cooked to order and good too.
The lodges are situated around an old farmstead on the last road in town on the way to Matopos- so a good halfway house between town and bush. The other clientele were midweek business travellers, one a repeat visitor, which is a good endorsement .
My son loved the two very friendly macaws that Rudy has for pets which were an added attraction!

We appreciate our guests taking the time to review their stay with us and would like to encourage everyone who has experienced The Musketeers Lodge to tell us and potential guests about us.

We have recently had some excellent and gratifying comments from our in house guest reviews and would like to see these on TripAdvisor. Our visitors in the first quarter of this year have come from United States, China, Germany, France , United Kingdom and South Africa as well as our regular Zimbabwean guests.

Thank you all for your loyalty and we look forward to welcoming old and new clientele soon.

This pristine guest house offers comfortable beds and is focused on guest comfort and ease. A delicious full English breakfast is served daily.
