“National Park and National Monument?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2013

Watch out, you will pay Park fees at the Park entrance, and then again at any of the sites inside. The top of the world view and most caves and San Paintings resort under National Monuments (separate from the Parks), you will pay again for these. I have complained at the unfairness of not publicly displaying (or mentioning) this at the entrance

“A half day visit is all you need!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2012

What a great landscape. See some rare cave art. Very little wildlife. Wonderful view from "Top of the World" where Cecil Rhodes is buried. An awkward monument to white settlers who were killed in battle with the Matebele's of southern Zimbabwe. It was obvious that the Monument was put up before Independence in 1980, and strangely has not been altered to include the "other" side of the story! Just 25 minutes or so south of Bulawayo.

“Never seen anything like it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2012

I just love this place! Everything from the paintings to the wildlife and views is amazing! I recommend going to Cecil Rhodes grave site, World's View, even if you have to pay to get there it is well worth anything they charge you! I do also recommend going there with Mr. Ian Hammer if you have the chance to, he is an AMAZING guide and knows this place like the back of his hand! webpage : http://www.african-wanderer.com/About.aspx

“Worth a visit”

Likes: fantastic scenery, friendly locals, lodge with lovely view. Dislikes: according to the staff, there are no animals left in the game area as they have been poached.
