This camp was our last stop on a fabulous safari trip. It is a beautiful camp and the air conditioning sure was a nice touch in the heat of November. The food was INCREDIBLE at this camp...Kenny the chef is fantastic. We had a rain storm for a few minutes one afternoon and when we returned from our fabulous boat trip on the Zambezi river the staff greeted us with towels, umbrellas and sherry...very nice. The river ride was fun and seeing the rhinos was wonderful with their babies. If you go to this part of Zambia in November you have to go and jump in "Devils Pool" it is something we will always remember. The camp has very comfortable new tents and internet so it is a good way to ease back slowly into civilization. We stayed in tent 12 which was a far walk but my goodness the view from this tent was worth it and the walk was nice. Impala, Rhino and Hippos in camp. Lovely Boma dinner with dancing and singing on Monday nights. FANTASTIC!! Thank you Donald and Sandy!!

I stayed at three WIlderness Safari camps, Toka Leya being the last of the three, and all were excellent. Beautiful, permanent tented camp that actually offers air conditioning. Great food, friendly staff and more. Make sure you get up the nerve to go to the "Devil's Pool" and hang over the side of Victoria Falls if you're there during the dryer season - you'll never forget it.

I only stayed one night (wish I had stayed 2). The accommodations are exceptional. There is a huge open air area for viewing and dining. Our evening excursion on the river was fantastic. The boat was small so we could get close to things and animals that others could not. The food was wonderful. There is also a small store to pick up nice quality gifts. It's a great place to see RHINOs (guarded in a secure area for there safety). I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did.

we stayed 3 nights at Toka Leya and it was a little of an over kill. 2 nights is more than enough.
Overall a good fishing experience (Tiger fish in the Zambezi river), the falls are gorgeous, but the game drive are somewhat less exciting than in Botswana.

This lodge is in a beautiful setting right along the Zambezi River and the staff could not be more courteous and welcoming. The boat rides were delightful with lots of hippos and birds, Victoria Falls is a thirty minute ride away, the evening safari yielded a view of rhinos, elephants and buffalo. While the cooking staff tries hard, the food is not great. They were accommodating and the soups especially good but the food just misses. We would go again and recommend it to friends.
